Meet the team
Michelle
(founder of Muddy Paws)
Animal Behaviourist, Canine Nutritionist & Pet Bereavement Counsellor – All areas
I have had animals all my life and grew up in a family where we all shared the responsibilities of animal ownership. I have also worked in animal shelters here and abroad, caring for abandoned animals, which was very rewarding and very educational.
I started Muddy Paws in 2012 offering Dog Walking and Pet sitting and then decided to train as an animal behaviourist to ensure that I could provide the animals in my care with the best possible care. I went on to complete various courses and am now a qualified Canine Nutritionist and Pet Bereavement Counsellor.
Over the last 12 years the business has grown and I have been joined by some wonderful people, who love animals, and want to work with them as much as I do.
Emma Mc
Dog Walker - Camborne, Redruth & Truro areas
Emma has always wanted to work with animals, and after leaving school she completed her Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Assistant course alongside working in a dog groomers. She then went to work in a veterinary practice as an animal care assistant part time which allowed her to start up a bit of dog walking in her spare time. The dog walking took off so well she decided to focus on that which she ran for 7 years and loved every minute! Due to COVID, she went back to working in a veterinary practice which allowed her to get a transfer to Cornwall. She decided to go back to doing what she loved and joined Muddy Paws in 2022! Until recently, she had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Jess who sadly has crossed the rainbow bridge. She now has a Yorkshire Terrier, Belle and a Collie called Arlo
